This ridiculously long limo comes complete with a swimming pool, mini-golf course and even a helicopter pad.
Known as ‘The American Dream’, the car has something of a lengthy history having been originally built in Burbank, California by car customiser Jay Ohrberg all the way back in 1986.
After achieving the record, however, it ended up falling into disrepair until relatively recently when it was purchased and restored back to its original splendour by Michael Dezer and Michael Manning.
Not content with simply matching the previous record, the pair managed to extend it by a couple of inches, meaning that at 100ft and 1.5 inches (30.54 meters), it is now, once again, the world’s longest ever car.
The project took 3 years and a whopping $250,000 to accomplish.
“We had to source some parts because they were destroyed,” said Manning.
“It was very hard to find an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser roof for sale, but I happened to find somebody that had the roof cut off and in storage for 30 years that was willing to part with it.”
Taking the limo out onto the road is not recommended without prior planning, however, as its insane length means that finding a space large enough for it to turn around is a challenge in and of itself.
