Henry Every, also known as John Avery, was one of the most notorious pirates of the 17th century. He terrorized the seas, attacking and plundering numerous ships in the Indian Ocean and beyond, amassing a vast fortune in the process. Every was a brutal leader, commanding a crew of ruthless pirates who were feared by sailors and merchants alike.
