Creepy footage has emerged showing an eerie figure standing at the side of a stretch of open highway in the dark.
According to reports, William Church had been driving along State Route 87 at around 2:30 a.m. on March 11th when he spotted a strange transparent figure standing at the side of the road.
The location, which was a few miles between Phoenix and Payson, was otherwise deserted with no other cars around and no reason for anyone to be walking there in the middle of the night.
“[The figure was] just standing in the roadway as I passed by looks like you can see the lines through the legs,” the driver recalled.
The truck’s dashcam even managed to capture footage of the figure, thus proving that there was definitely something there that night and it wasn’t just the driver’s imagination.
This particular stretch of road has seen more than its fair share of fatal car accidents over the years and some locals have come to believe that it is haunted.
So could this video be evidence of something paranormal or was the ghostly figure just a regular person who happened to be walking along the road at the time ?
